"here's a toast... to all those who hear me all too well..." -Eve 6

life progresses well. too much had been on my mind to continue writing here, and i'll be relocating shortly (and deleting all of this Tongabove stuff)... so stay tuned for a new address, etc.

love you all.

today's focus: studying @ SUNY tonight, where are tax checks?, tie-dyed skirts, "ice cream on the Narragansett pier"

"Remember your dreams, and unseen things..." -Open the Duir

a long time ago i wrote journals and diaries. books and folders and leatherbound tomes. ideas, frustrations, thoughts, dreams and reflections. where does that come from?

it didn't come from my parents. nobody really modeled it or suggested it in some mentor-esque way. almost everyone has had to "journal" for a psych. or english class (as part of ritualistic writing excercises), so that can't be it. where, then, does this innate urge come from to sit down and convey words... to no one?

i'm not talking about blogging. i'm talking about the actual physical books i've started, gotten through, burned, thrown away, given away, or even tossed in streams (okay, only once).

strange habit, this.

today's focus: wonderful canned soup, liking the Euclid case, staying here from 8 am > 6 pm (like a real work day!), summer job contacts from MIB

Monday, March 28
"You voted for Kerry? What are you, gay?" - some fucking idiot from Baylor U.,to my cousin Jeff

a rainy beginning to the week here in albany. the precipitation has not stopped since midnight yesterday, bringing it to an almost (15 minutes!) complete 24-hour phenomenon. increase the temperature to the mid-fifties and i'd be on the front porch as we speak, under a blanket and holding some tea.

i've thought a lot recently about ambition. and now, at 11:46 on a monday night, i lack the motivation to even write about it. what does that say about my chemical balance?

today's focus: alcoholism, tuna pot pie recipe, rugby tournament saturday, throwing pens at Morgan
